Plan a Visit

Sundays @ OBC

Throughout the week we’ve been scattered, but every Sunday we gather together at 10am to worship Jesus, pray and unpack the bible together.
If you have children, they can participate in our fun (and safe!) kid’s ministry during the service.
Because of the welcome that we have received from Jesus, it is our hope that when you visit Orange Baptist Church on a Sunday morning, you’ll receive a very warm welcome from us.

Got Questions?

           What Happens in the Service?
Typically, you walk in and get greeted at the door.  Find a seat, there will be a welcome by the music leader or pastor at the front.  People will stand and sing some songs of worship.  Someone will lead us in prayer followed by a time of welcome and some announcements.  The children head out for age appropriate teaching and small group time.  Back in the service, there might be an interview with someone from our church community about a life experience. Someone will read from the bible and then a talk will be given from the bible verses.  We sing some more and then finish with some fellowship around morning tea.
            What Should I Wear?
Wear whatever you want – seriously, there is no dress code to attend this church.
Will I Be Expected to Say Something?
No just come and enjoy the service.
Will I Be Pressured for Money?
No not at all.  We take up an offering for the work of the church, but there is no pressure at all to contribute.
